STUDIO OF THE YEAR

The WCE Studio of the Year Award celebrates studios that demonstrate excellence in dance training across multiple styles and age divisions. Studios competing for Studio of the Year must pre-register and submit routines in the required categories for both the Mini/Junior division and the Teen/Senior division. There is no additional cost to participate.

Studios will submit a nomination form identifying exactly which 10 routines will be counted toward Studio of the Year. These selected routines will compete during regular competition, and the five studios with the highest combined scores will advance to the Studio of the Year Dance-Off. The Studio of the Year Winner will be announced during GALA evening.

Studios must submit routines in five (5) unique categories in both divisions:

HOW IT WORKS

1. Pre-Register for Studio of the Year (no additional fee).
2. Submit your Studio of the Year Nomination Form listing your 10 routines (5 Mini/Junior + 5 Teen/Senior).
3. Your nominated routines compete during regular competition and are scored as normal.
4. The Top 5 studios (highest combined scores) advance to the Studio of the Year Dance-Off.
5. Finalists re-compete in the Studio of the Year Dance-Off, and the winner is announced at GALA.

STUDIO OF THE YEAR PERKS

To celebrate the studios competing for Studio of the Year, WCE is proud to include the following perks:

• Studio of the Year Jackets for all registered dancers at the winning studio
• (2) Studio of the Year Master Classes for the winning studio

• An exclusive Studio Reel for the winning studio — a behind-the-scenes promotional video created to highlight your program and community
• Reserved seating at GALA for Studio of the Year finalist studios (8 seats per studio) during the Studio of the Year presentation
• Plaques awarded to the Winner and all 4 Runners-Up

FINE PRINT

• Pre-registration is required to compete for Studio of the Year.
• There is no additional cost to register for Studio of the Year.
• Studios must submit 10 total routines: 5 Mini/Junior and 5 Teen/Senior, each in a unique required category.
• Studio of the Year nominations cannot be changed once competition begins.
• The Top 5 studios are selected based on the combined scores of their nominated routines during regular competition.
• The Studio of the Year Winner will be announced during GALA evening.
